Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m rapidly approaching 50 (about 2 months from now). I have a beautiful wife of almost 13 years and 2 children a 4-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl that we adopted.

What was it about Starin that drew you to us?
I have worked for other dealers/integrators in the past. Neal Weber was our representative. He was an excellent resource and always available to gain knowledge and advice from. I wanted to align myself with an organization that valued their partners as much as he did.

How long have you been in the AV industry?
About 25 years in some capacity. Either at resellers, integrators, manufacturers.

What hardware are you recommending for video conferencing these days?
The DTEN D7 you cannot find a better appliance for ZoomRooms

What is your main goal with working with Starin?
Learning and growing, for our customers and myself

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A professional musician and a father. I accomplished that.

A favorite vacation spot?
Marquette, MI. I love the many attributes this region has to offer. I have traveled the world over. But something always calls me back to that region for solitude and renewal. 

What is the biggest benefit people will get from you, and Starin when working with you?
I always attempt to put myself in the shoes of our customers and what is best for them. You cannot truly help someone unless you understand their situation.

Do you have any pets, and if you do who are they?
A dog, Phoebe Larue. She is a beagle that has a plethora of allergies, including humans.

Who is your hero?
My Dad. He was a brilliant engineer. He could design and implement about anything. He taught me anything could be accomplished with determination. He could design and physically do it. Not many people can do both.
