SMART Split Screen now live with iQ 3.14!
SMART iQ 3.14 makes it even easier to walk up and teach, incorporating more of the Android features your customers already know and love for greater ease of use and more meaningful teaching and learning.
Key features of iQ 3.14.
-
Split Screen mode to use two Android apps simultaneously. Teachers can take notes in the whiteboard while watching videos, browsing the internet, or while using other Android apps. While on split screen mode, your customers can view, use and resize two Android apps simultaneously.
-
Z-order – With popular, common commands such as “Bring to Front”, “Send to Back”, teachers can add and manipulate whiteboard objects and multimedia for more effortless teaching.
-
Join via QR Code option allows students to join a whiteboard broadcast or collaborative whiteboard more quickly and easily than ever before.
-
Adoptable storage lets customers use the capacity of a Micro-SD card to expand the overall internal storage capacity of their interactive display. By treating the total storage capacity of the Micro-SD card and onboard storage as one virtual, continuous block of storage, the display can store additional files, media, and apps on the display.
-
Improved HDMI-CEC support for compatible HDMI devices, which can be turned off or on in iQ settings.
Also available now: SMART Mirror 4.17 brings screenshare improvements to support unlimited connection options. This update allows teachers to choose from an unlimited lobby of connected student devices to view up to 4 live devices simultaneously. Any customer using SMART Mirror can take advantage of this update.
iQ 3.14 update is expected to be released via OTA in May, 2023. iQ 3.14 will be available for SMART Board® 6000S (V3) series, SMART Board® MX (V3) series displays and SMART Board® MX (V4) series displays.
